Budapest is divided in two by the mighty Danube, Old Buda with its Castle Hill on the one side, and Cosmopolitan Pest with its grand boulevards and fine shops on the other. Visit the Royal Palace, Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastian in the cobblestoned Castle Hill area. Take the Chain Bridge across the Danube for huge squares, museums, the gothic Parliament building and the hand of St. Stephen in his eponymous basilica ! Why not visit one of the many spas simply for relaxation or medical cures.
